“Prayer for Alignment” — by Fr. Sean O’Laoire

Here we pause to reflect silently on the ways in which we are unaligned as individuals and as communities.

A: I acknowledge to you, my sisters and my brothers

that I have been unaware of the God-in-all-beings.

I have been unmindful
in my thoughts and in my words,

in what I have done
and in what I have neglected to do.

So, I ask our Divine Mother
all the angels and saints
and you, my sisters and my brothers to help reawaken me.

P: May we realign ourselves with the God-in-all-beings,

may we forgive each other’s transgressions
and may we commit to the journey into enlightenment.

C: Amen
